Espagnolette Lock LH Bronze Plated Description

This lock does not have a latch.  A Left handed lock is fitted to the right side of a door hinged on the left.

Espagnolette locks are traditionally used on wardrobes, they use the traditional euro bit key to lock and work by rotating a 6mm “D” bar in the lock, which turns the hooks which are on the end of the two bars protruding from the lock, these hooks will secure around a pin.  This will secure the door top & bottom.

These locks are an ideal replacement for old Huwil locks as they are an exact replica.

The ancillary items used in the espagnolette system can all be purchased separately or as a kit if required.
