What is a magnetic catch?
Magnetic catches are a simple and effective way to hold doors in cabinets and enclosures closed. The catch contains a magnet within a casing which can then be fixed to the door. They are availalbe in different strengths of pull and when used in conjunction with a striker will hold the door closed.
What is a toggle catch?
A toggle catch offers a secure fastening when locked, are strong and dependeable, with a quick release function. There are a wide range available to suit most applications such as high strength units through to discreet drawer latches which can be used on machinery or equipment.
What is a tutch latch?
A tutch latch (touch latch), pressure catch or push to open catch, does not require a handle or knob for their operation. These are specifcally designed for kitchen units and other built in furniture which have completely flush fronts.
What is a tip latch?
A tip latch with keep has a spring loaded action which will flick the latch to push a door or flap ajar. These are used for flush doors with non-catching hinges and feature a metal roller which provides a smooth open and close movement.
