Duo Stays are generally used for cupboards which have a lift up flap but can also be used as a lid stay or as a drop down flap stay. Due to the unique design of the stay when the flap is opened it will remain up and allowing access to the cupboard without being hindered by also having to hold the flap open. By gently pulling down the flap it will close, the rate of decent can be controlled via a central location with adjustment by way of an allen key. On larger framed units it may be necessary to use 2 duo stays due to the weight of the flap. They can be used in conjunction with soft close hinges.
